Planting a tree is simple right? ... well almost, there are several things that should be considered when planting trees, for instance;
 
Size - How big will the tree be when it reaches maturity?  Does it have a large or narrow crown?
 
Location - Where is the tree to be planted, what type of soil is it, is there any hard landscaping/buildings nearby that may be disturbed by tree roots etc.
 
Appearance - Do you want all round leaf cover, possibly native species only?
 
To list a few of the things that should be considered before planting occurs, we can also transplant existing trees, with some exceptions, if the location of an existing specimen is unsuitable.
